Agriculture in India has a long history dating back to ten thousand years. It is the most important sector in India. Today, India ranks second worldwide in farm output. Government of India has initiated number of steps to boost the agribusiness which includes investments for the development of marketing, storage and cold storage infrastructure. We have now been able to establish our presence in the world market through update with the new techniques and farming methods, latest equipment and packing and transporting systems. This intensive program agriculture tourism is unique and provides an opportunity for the guests to know about the Indian farming, techniques, the green revolution, local people, culture and their aspirations…

Day 01 Arrival in Delhi
Meet & greet on arrival by our airport representative who will escort you to your hotel in a chauffeur driven air-conditioned vehicle. On arrival at the hotel, check in to your rooms.
Day 02 Delhi
AM: tour of Old Delhi. Visit the 400-years-old Jama Mosque, the largest in India, followed by a cycle rickshaw ride through the teeming bazaar. Drive past Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Depending on the interest of the guests and time permitting - a Heritage walk led by an expert historian can be arranged through the by-lanes in the old city - visiting the spice market and the jeweler’s lane. Should guest opt for this activity then the cycle rickshaw ride can be avoided.

PM: drive through Lutyens’ Delhi, Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s Palace and India Gate, a war memorial arch built in honour of Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War –I. Explore the famed Humayun’s Tomb - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and culminate the tour at Qutab Minar - a UNESCO World Heritage Site., the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet (72m).

Culminate the sightseeing with a religious & philosophy experience. Accompanied by your English speaking local guide, you will visit a Hindu & Sikh Temple.

Day 03 Delhi-Ludhiana (300 Kms / approx 7 hrs)
AM: leave for Ludhiana, also known as ‘Manchester of India’. En-route, guests will have a wonderful opportunity to see the countryside and the farms- great photo opportunity!

PM: arrive in Ludhiana and check in to your hotel.
Day 04 Ludhiana
AM & PM: visit the local Farms. Enjoy a pre arranged meeting with cotton spinners followed by a tour of Mill in the afternoon.
Day 05 Ludhiana-Shimla (265 Kms / approx 6 hrs)
AM: spend some time observing the innovative research programmes in Ludhiana. Afterwards, depart for Shimla, a popular and spectacular mountain "summer" retreat of the erstwhile British Raj.

PM: arrive in Shimla and check in to your hotel. Soak up the atmosphere of the Himalayas foothills with panoramic views of the snow clad peaks and get spellbound by its magnificent verdant beauty.
Day 06 Shimla
AM & PM: leave for a Colonial Heritage Tour of Shimla. Visit Vice-regal Lodge, the erstwhile residence of the Viceroys of India. After a short tour of the building and exploring the sprawling grounds drive down to Annadale. Packed with history and heritage, Annadale offers beautiful view of the only wide open grounds in Shimla.

Later enjoy a walking tour of Shimla town. Begin with a visit to The Mall - the main promenade that runs along the top of the ridge. It is a busy shopping area with old colonial buildings, souvenir shops and restaurants. Also visit the Christ Church. Situated on the ridge, it is the second oldest church in Northern India.

Visit other historic buildings which offer a peek at the attractions of this historic town. Walk back through the Mall to conclude the walk at Clarke’s hotel.
Day 07 Shimla-Chandigarh (120 Kms / approx 03 hrs 30 min)
AM: drive to Chandigarh, India's first planned city and the common capital of both the Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

PM: enjoy orientation tour of the city.

One of the most significant urban planning experiments of the 20th century; the city was planned by Le Corbusier, the famous French architect-planner. During your tour visit Secretariat and High Court buildings which are veritable proofs of the architectural expertise of Le Corbusier.

Other places of interest include the State Library, Shanti Kunj, Moonlight Garden, Bougainvillea Garden, Bidhan Sabha and University - each a fine specimen of modern art. Also visit the Rock garden, a famous tourist spot, which is an architectural wonder, covering an area of 6 acres; Museum-cum-Art Gallery which houses an extensive range of paintings and sculptures by contemporary Indian artists; Asia’s largest rose garden, Zakir Gulab Bagh, spread out over 30 acres of land, boasting of 50,000 rose trees of 1600 different species.
Day 08 Chandigarh-Delhi - (Shatabdi Express at 0650 / 1000 hrs) Delhi-Agra (210 Kms / 5 hrs)
AM: transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi.

Meet & greet on arrival at New Delhi railway station. Later leave for the Mughal city of Agra.

PM: arrive in Agra and check in to your hotel. Later visit Agra Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 09 Agra-Bharatpur (56 Kms / approx 2 hrs)
AM: visit the glorious Taj Mahal by sunrise- a UNESCO World Heritage Site * - one of the most perfect architectural monuments in the world. * Closed on Friday. Enjoy a romantic Tonga ride (decorated horse driven carriages) to the greatest monument of love.

Return to hotel in time for breakfast.

Later drive to Bharatpur. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s capital city - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
PM: arrive in Bharatpur and check in to your hotel. Later visit Keoala deo bharatpur bird sanctuary - a UNESCO World heritage. It is truly a fantasy of feathers and a bird kingdom, where time takes wings.
Day 10 Bharatpur-Neemarana (200 Kms / approx 6 hrs**)
AM: leave for Neemarana Fort, built in 1464, it is among India's oldest heritage resort and has been restored and furnished with a mix of traditional Indian and colonial furniture.

PM: arrive in Neemrana and check in to your hotel. Sited on a majestic plateau, Neemarana Fort-Palace covers 10 hectares with commanding views of the surrounding farmlands. Enjoy a walking tour of the fort and the nearby villages.
Day 11 Neemarana-Jaipur (140 Kms/ approx 3 hrs 30 min)
AM: depart for Jaipur, the wonderful Pink City.

Arrive in Jaipur and check in to your hotel.

PM: visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, built in the 1700s but still appears futuristic. Continue to City Palace that houses the Maharaja’s private collection of textiles and armory. Culminate the tour with a rickshaw ride in the old part of the city.

Evening: leave for shopping tour of the Pink City. During the course, enjoy demonstration of Carpet weaving and block printing by local craftsman.
Day 12 Jaipur
AM: visit Amber Fort, the ancient citadel of the Kachhawa clan. Enjoy an elephant ride to the fort or a jeep transfer. Photo stop at Hawa Mahal, fondly called the ‘Palace of Winds’.

Alternatively, an elephant safari can be arranged on a private basis close to Amber fort, in a beautiful setting with breakfast or lunch. PM: enjoy a visit to local farmhouse. Here you will chance to interact with the local villagers and know about there local farming techniques etc.
Day 13 Jaipur-Udaipur (Flight 9W 3401, dep. at 0715 and arr. at 0810 hrs) - subject to change
AM: transfer to airport for flight to Udaipur - "The romantic City of Lakes" and one of the most beautiful cities in India. Udaipur is a harmonious Indian blend of whitewashed buildings, Marble Palaces, Lakeside Gardens and Have lies (traditional mansions).

Arrive in Udaipur and check in to your hotel.

Later enjoy city orientation tour. Begin your visit from City Palace, a conglomeration of buildings added by various Maharanas. Also visit Crystal Gallery located at the City Palace. It has a rare collection of Osler's crystal ordered from England by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1877.

PM: return to hotel. Remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

Evening, enjoy boat ride on the mesmerizing Lake Pichola.
Day 14 Udaipur-Delhi (Flight 9W 708 dep. at 15:30 hrs and arr. 16:40 hrs) - subject to change
AM: visit the surrounding countryside for visits to cotton & grain farms.

PM: in time transfer to airport for flight to Delhi.

Meet & greet on arrival and transfer to an airport hotel where rooms will be available till your international departure.
Day 15 Depart from Delhi
Transfer to international airport for your flight to onward destination
